Hi
Does anyone have experience of dry ice blasting to clean the underside of their car prior to undersealing/protecting.
Any good or bad points. Things to look out for/dos and don’ts.
Specifically does any have any recommendations for people who do this in Kent or the south east.
Finally, what thoughts can people share on the best treatments to apply to ward off rust. And best methods for application - brush or spray etc.
Many thanks

The keyword you need is 'Fascetta coppiglia' and use Google.it / ebay.it / amazon.it

e.g. https://www.amazon.it/Fascetta-nastro-metallico-coppiglia-9x600/dp/B07YZQLGFN

But actually what you should do is ask me, as I bought a lifetime supply of these (100 clips and rolls of metal tape, 2 different widths) some while ago and can probably send you what you need. Let me know the width required and I'll see if I can help.

'Cotterpin' improves the Internet search. AlfaStop in the UK have them listed.

 Thanks Tim

  Otherwise a GPO surplus sale,

We used to use them when I was an apprentice with God's Poor Orphans that became Post Office Telecommunications that became British Telecom that seems to have vanished. They were used to clamp cable joint enclosures up so water couldn't get in. It still did.

I must admit I was surprised how easily it started and even ran briefly with no choke despite not being fully warmed up. The weather has socked in again up here as I was going to treat it to some lead additive and a fresh gallon of petrol and give it a 10 lap blast round the units so it will have to wait. I will have to resist giving it too much choke next time out and keep those plugs happy. Not so sure about the shelf life of E5 petrol but it does seem to last a bit longer than has been known in the past.

What a brilliant reply. Can't see any on the various websites though. It is 'the sardine tin' screw type which I would like.
