Just a quick update for anyone that doesn't have access to the latest copy of Viva Lancia!

We're now past the booking deadline and we've completely sold out of our allocation of rooms at the hotel, but in case anyone has only just joined the club and still wants to come along, we've reserved an additional ten rooms until 24 June.  You'll need to complete a digital copy of the booking form (see attachment below) and email it to nationalrally@lanciamc.co.uk ASAP.  You'll also need to make payment in full - preferably by bank transfer.  If this isn't possible, please phone me first (number is on the booking form).  Details of the event are also attached below.

Beyond 24 June, remaining rooms will be released to the general public so it it essential to phone before making any booking or payment, to confirm availability.

Of course, anyone is welcome to come along on Sunday to join us for our "Lancia festival", including non-LMC members with (or temporarily without) Lancia cars.  We are close to confirming some very special display cars that should bring back fond memories for our guest of honour, the legendary Ninni Russo (mastermind of Lancia's motorsport domination in the 80s and 90s).  There will be a hog-roast lunch (+ vegetarian option) served from the marquee, accompanied by a delightful string quartet playing classical pieces and contemporary adaptations of very familiar tunes.  And did I mention an ice cream van?!

Sunday arrivals should be from 11am and we will attempt to group cars by model.  There is no charge to attend, but we do request an email to let us know you're coming so we can allocate appropriate parking areas.  Lunch needs to be pre-booked for just £10 per person - please use the attached booking form to reserve and pay for yours.

Cheers!
Mark

Quick exciting update... a few of us are coming in period gear http://

Bonus points if it's purple, flarey, corduroy, frilly or floral; it'll definitely add texture to the 75th anniversary.

Well Mihran, I looked for my flares and white polo neck but my wife reminded me that she gave them to Oxfam about 40 years ago!

Sorry…if the club was founded 75 years ago so 1947…. What’s the significance of 1960s/1970s style fashion? Just asking… Tom

I'm sure that if I still had any of my clothes from the 70s, there's no way I'd still fit into them!!

Mid-90s though - hmmm....

Hello Mark,
For the 50th anniversary little pin-badges and larger grille badges were made. Will there be 75th versions?
Sadly I will not be attending but I know someone who is.

Best regards, Leo

Still have my pin badge unused, and my jumper,  but well worn!

Jumper worn out, grille badge as new. Anyone know of a spare lapel badge for sale? Condition not important.

Also I have noticed a coffee cup on my shelf.

I still have both pin and grille badge in pristine, uncirculated condition :-)  Hence, wanting versions for the 75th celebration.

Not for sale, although everything has its price !!

There won't be a pin or grille badge specific to this event, but we're working on something for the whole club.  I'll let you know if anything comes to fruition!

Resident guests will be getting a nice goody bag though Smiley

What time is the AGM on Sunday?

I need to set up a Lambda Consortium display beforehand, if possible.  Sadly I will probably have to come in a non-Lancia estate car because of that.

I bought a load of Lancia mugs at Prescott on the Sunday, although they weren't specific to the the event.
