I had a set, but I sold them as I didn't think they were a good look. Brian 8227

Enjoyed this thread especially the Morris Marina bit lol 😂 Note the Rally Marina didn’t have mud flaps!

I recall seeing quite a few Fulvia Coupes with mud flaps when I had my first Fulvia back in the late 1970s. I seem to be in the minority in that I thought they looked quite smart. Haven't put them on my car though!

C’mon Norm and Howard, feel the fear anyway, Mudflap Splinter Group!
Anyone else “coming out” 😂

My works car has them on: My other S1 also had them on, but I removed them soon after getting it (because they looked daft):

Yes, I like that. I'm unconvinced by the flaps that mount far behind the wheel arch, seems to defeat the point. I've now got four cardboard mudflaps to mock up for when it stops raining. Been side tracked by the fitment of hazards, then re-doing it with a better switch. And the new stereo with hands free and Bluetooth. Just back from a short drive to unwind after a busy day.....had a Spotify playlist called Mellow Classics on......found myself enjoying some Barbra Streisand....

Finally got round to fitting the mudflaps. What do you think?

Revisiting this thread because of the strange turn it took.
I've come across two old photos that made me laugh, so I thought I'd share.
ULC 320X, scabby brown Marina van that I took to uni in 1990.

If I was fitting mud flaps I'd try to find the Lancia ones. You can see them on Keith Rutter's car in Crouch End. Not far from you Howard.
