This pair of front seats, covered in a rather funky striped material on top of the original cloth, came with my 3rd Series B20 project from Barcelona.

I had hoped they were Aprilia and could be used in my Aprilia which is missing a seat, but having had a better look at them, I don't think they are correct. They have a tilt mechanism with a seat rake adjuster screw and as far as I know Aprilia front seats don't have this.

Some online searching suggests they might be Ardea. I have found photos of Ardea interiors that shows the front seats tilting.
Does anyone here know?

On the other hand, I just found this image of the restored interior of the famous Bracco Mille-Miglia / Le Mans / Carrera car, which appears to have very similar seats.

Perhaps they were original fitment on my B20, which would explain why they tilt.

And perhaps the Bracco car used Ardea seats. To mis-quote Steady Barker, I have no ardea. But perhaps you do?!

Judging by the rake adjustment screws in the 'seats-3' picture, they are not like my Aprilia seats. But what i have learnt over the past year, is that nearly every Aprilia part that I have come across is different in some aspect and I am not just talking series 1 and 2.

Looking at them the grey one is very similar to my S2 Aprilia. The threaded adjusters are identical

Just like mine.    1938 car ex Jphn Maltby so seats may not be original.    One of them has a folding back like this but the other does not.

Thanks all, very helpful.

Just had a look at the 1947 Aprilia currently being auctioned on Car & Classic's website. Auction finishes today, currently at £8k. Could be a good buy for someone? I've not seen the car in person, but it looks very useable.

The front seats, though trimmed in leather, look the same as mine, with a double-seamed join between central back panel and the sides; so I'm pretty sure what I have are probably S2. They still might go back into the B20...

Currrently £17,500 which seems still very cheap.

The final bid was £17,500 but didn’t sell, it’s difficult to gauge the reserve price on these free auctions where the seller only pays if sold, you see the same car coming up again and again. I think £17,500 maybe a bit low, but without wanting to offend it was very tatty and would require a fair bit of work to command the higher values. But at lest all the parts were there.
Another one sold on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255981928936 which still shows they have a much stronger value than other pre-war metal.

The vertical ribs, as well as the beading around the bottoms look Aprilia to me; my Aprilia has seat adjuster screws between the back rest and the seat base
