Please can someone tell me the dimensions so that I can order a bearing without having to take it our first and thus have the car off the road?

I think the top one is what you need, but I haven't time to check until tomorrow

Yes it is but it is an unrestrained roller not a ball.    I put in a ball race because that is what I had so we shall see.   I fitted the shaft to its Ben type discs before tightening up the centre bearing mount which is slotted and rubber anyway so there should not be any excessive side thrust on the race I think.
