B10

« on: 23 October, 2017, 05:20:11 PM »

Apologies if this is a 'repeat topic'...

I need to dismantle one of the rear hubs on my B10 to replace a bad-feeling bearing (not had it on the road, but you can feel its pain).

Does anyone on the forum have a set (pair?) that I can borrow. Or should I go to Omicron?

Those of long memory might intuit that I'm making some progress with this very slow rebuild and they'd be right. I might even resurrect the forum thread.

Hi Will, please see posts in the link below. Assuming rear hub bearing same all though Aurelia range, part no #48353 RIV 9387C

I had enquired on the above thread about club tools but Brian said the club didn't have any, so drawings were supplied and we made our own. If stuck I can mail them to you.

Thanks Frank,
I think I might get a local engineering shop to make a pair of tools up, as you did. Having read your experience, I'll make sure they start with 'hard' raw materials.
Cheers,

No problem, let me know if you need drawings forwarded, and please do kickstart your B10 restoration thread again, always of interest!
