Brake pads.
« on: 19 April, 2017, 08:58:50 PM »
Where is the best place to buy series 1 coupe brake pads please?
I am a little confused with the amount of pads for sale. Some advertise that series 1 pads are the same as series 2 and 3 and even the flaminia.
You guys must know.
Thanks in anticipation.

I think the pads are universal across dunlop equipped cars, including Jaguar, Ferrari etc. S2/3 are Girling though

With S1 Fulvias, weren't the non servo cars fitted with black pads all round whereas the servo cars had green painted pads fitted to the front ( servo assisted) brakes?
Not sure what's available today ad I have NOS spares on the shelf.

Pads for series 1's are different to series 2/3.
I usually get mine Omicron.

I have a Flavia Coupe and bought some cheap pads from e-bay last year and they were awful - noisy and loads of dust.

I replaced them with some more expensive pads from Omicron and they are perfect, no noise or dust, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Thanks, still not fitted them but did put cheap pads on the rear and they grind and make horrible  noises. Probably go down the  o micron  route in the end as i have been more than impressed  with all the parts ive had off them so far.
