My oldest son surprised me with a very thoughtful present this Christmas.

The Tintin/Lancia connection is well known within Lancia circles, but how he tracked it down I am not sure ......

Andy, you probably know this already but there is an Tintin Aurelia model ref 2 118 026 of the B20 in L'Affaire Tournesol. Its beautifully made and looks to be to be more correct in shape etc than many others on the market. I think I got mine online from the Tintin shop in London.
There is also an Tintin Aprilia model of comparable quality from another story available I recall.
Maybe you can treat yourself?

Chris, I was not aware of that .... I will have a look on their site. My birthday is not until November and all finances are, at the moment directed at the real cars, so it may have to wait. However, I am patient ... I have learnt that  from restoring Lancias!!!!!

The model turns up regularly on e-bay at reasonable prices.
