As I've noted on here before, it's different when you see it in the Metal, I love it! however does anyone know how many were made, as I doubt the one featured in this book is the same car that's in the Lancia collection?
I do however wonder why the owner who saved it thought it looked better in red, to my mind red doesn't suit it at all.
Next question, is there a source for the book in the UK?

There was only one Flaminia Loraymo, if you read the article about the book from the link in this post it says
'Part of the story involves the Lancia make itself and the American Lancia Club, which with the efforts of Snyder and Armand Giglio, handed the newly rediscovered Loraymo over to the Lancia Museum in 1987, who in turn restored it to its present condition (it was most recently seen at the Autoclassica in Milan).'

Thanks Ade,
It must just be my recall these days as I knew, but had forgotten, that the American Lancia Club had donated it to the Lancia Museum after restoration, as there was an edition of their magazine, of which I have a copy! devoted to it.
Just made an advance order today of the book, bit pricy, but hopefully worth it, and with only 500 copies, worth having.

I see there is a free Loraymo book on offer to owners of Lancias, if of interest to anyone here? Photo required to the email address on the Veloce website. I have sent mine today. Richard

Still worth it as I paid a lot more for my copy when I bought it, and its worth reading.

I have now received a reply. Book to be sent, then shipping costs to be paid by return post. Seems reasonable as the 500 copies won't be available indefinitely. I suppose  a multi dispatch would be the only thing to cut delivery costs. Richard

Bought mine full price when it first came out, still reckon it was worth it, so you did well.

I couldnt put my finger on it at first.... It reminds me of the Volvo P1800, especially the version with the up-turned split front bumper.

I've never seen a photo of the Loraymo accompanied by other cars: I'm surprised how small it looks next to that 2CV!

Ugly though isn't it?
Looks like it's ready to swallow Jonah.
Often find that coachbuilder's interpretation is much inferior to the original design. Esp so for E Types and other Jags and evidently Lancias too.
