It seems this has been launched.

Not fully populated with Lancia Models (could not see Fulvia, Flavia etc) and you need an Italian mobile number (!) to get the form accepted. I have asked FCA to amend this to be international.

It seems just a portal to put your request in then you will receive a request to pay or something before you get your car details

Also would be nice to have a language button as I suspect there might be another person who is not fluent in Italian - indeed struggles beyond pizza and spumante!

Brian

I was using google chrome and it automatically translated to English. If not automatic then right click the mouse button and select translate to English option.

I do not hold much hope of hearing about my vehicle enquiry - we will see!

Hi All,

I just did this for my Flaminia - they responded and after paying €20 I got the data from FCAs production register. I did have to agree to Ts&Cs in Italian - but hey iTunes Ts&Cs might as well be in Italian - I still agree to them!

They have a bit to learn from the likes of British Motor Heritage in terms of presentation - what I got was an email with a few bullet points!

They were able to supply all the numbers for the body, diff, engine gearbox etc as well as original colour and interior (confirming that I have put it back to how it left the factory). They also gave me the precise build date which was interesting - previously I knew only the year from the chassis number.

Unfortunately they had no information as to where the car was first sold...

Cheers
Dave

Hi Dave

It just occurred to me that this would be a useful new attribute to add onto the club database for vehicles - do you get a reference number or anything ?

While we record the 'colour' of a vehicle, there's nothing to record the 'interior' and this too could be added on.

They don't actually use the mobile number - so I just entered my U.K. Number

On colours they came back to me with the following:
Exterior colour : grey new market
Interior : skin, colour black

Cheers

Interesting - I have been very happy with the original service so will try the online (and cheaper ) option. How long did the process take ? Is the reply in English only or English /Italian ?

I saw the article/advert? on Page 7 of December 2017 VL! and decided to give this a go.

I can a call back from someone in FCA in Milan today asking exactly what I was after and then got sent the link to use -

https://www.fcaheritage.com/en-uk/classic-services/lancia-certificate-origin

- I've now filled that in and expect to get contacted again and will update this thread when I know more

Hi

Update: the link worked and FCA contacted me a day later with the details they have on the car and whether I wanted to proceed with the paper copy at 70EUR or electronic copy at 30EUR. I have replied to this - paper copy for me !

This is the disappointing news that I received-

Dear Mr Greenway,

With reference to your request I inform you that there is no information on your car, we are sorry but unfortunately in the past the Lancia Museum, which managed the Lancia archives, did not keep any production register or other list of Lancia Fulvia Sport (Series 818.750).

Best regards

I think most Fulvia records were lost in a flood?

Having said that, I did give it a try the other day anyway. Just had a reply - they don't have mine as they didn't keep all the records of the Coupe 1.3 (Series 818.630). Does that mean they have some or literally didn't keep ALL the records?

I tried it for my 1970 HF1600 series 2 and they came back we have no records for the Fulvia and can't help you, so I guess all records for the Fulvia.
