An astonishing price for what is claimed to be an unrestored car. This car has just had a bare metal respray, a complete interior re-trim including new door cards  and much work to the mechanicals, although it seems the engine and transaxle have not been rebuilt. That to me is not an unrestored car!! However, they are very open about what has been done.

The same thing struck me Andy.
Can it be described as original and unmolested if it has been repainted and re-trimmed twice!!

A bit like  Trigger's broom moment on "Only fools and horses"...........

"Trigger And that's what I've done. Maintained it for 20 years. This old brooms had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in its time.
Sid How the hell can it be the same bloody broom then?
Trigger Theres the picture. What more proof do you need?"

I presume they count periodic replacement of the paint and trim materials as necessary maintenance of a car of this quality which rather begs the question of what would have to be done to constitute restoration.
