Received from the organisers;

One of the premier events in the classic car show calendar takes place at Knebworth House on Sunday and Monday 28th and 29th August. And it’s going to be even bigger and better than before!

Gemini Events will be putting on the 26th annual Classic Motor Show and this will combine with the first-ever Hertfordshire Motor Show, sponsored by Archant, the publishers of The Comet, Herts Advertiser, Welwyn & Hatfield Times and The Hunts Post.

As a result a great range of brand new cars, including models from Alfa Romeo, Infiniti, Citroen, and Vauxhall, will be on display alongside the 1,000+ classics expected to attend over the two days.

Over 50 local car clubs are already booked to join the show including two 50th anniversary displays - from The Ford Cortina MkII Owners’ Club and the BMW 2002 Club. Both cars launched in 1966, the year that Britain last won the World Cup. On the Sunday there will be awards for the best club stands and on Monday the judges will be busy selecting the winners of the Concours competition.

Brian Page, motoring historian and classic car assessor, will be commentating in the live arena and will interview owners during the featured parades of classics that culminate in awards’ ceremonies  at the end of each day.

Pre-booking ends on Sunday July 31st and can be made online at www.classicmotorevents.co.uk so there is still time to join as an exhibitor. Pre-booking costs just £3.50 administration fee plus 50 pence p&p and entitles two people to admission to the show. It also includes admission to the grounds and gardens of Knebworth House plus the the Knebworth Fort play area.

On each day discounted entrance to Knebworth House itself is available – simply present your exhibitor pass and pay £3.50 for adults, £3 for children (3 – 15 years)

Public admission fees on the day to the Car Show, and entry to Knebworth Park, Gardens and Dinosaur Trail: Adult: £9.50. Children under 3: Free. Family Ticket (4 persons): £34, with discounted advance tickets online on Knebworth's website. http://www.knebworthhouse.com/advance-tickets
