I'd never heard of this before but it has just come up on e-bay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lanica-Thema-Gazella-Boneschi-V6-coupe-prototype-/282030726573?hash=item41aa575dad:g:fZcAAOSwQNRXLjf7

This Thema was produced by Carrozeria Boneschi for the 1986 Turin motor show as a prototype with a view for later production, however this never came to be and the Gazella was the only 2 door Thema coupé produced. It has the 2.8 V6 PRV engine and 5 speed manual gearbox.

Frank,
I've seen photos of it before and if I remember correctly it's shown in 'La Lancia'.
Can't say I find it particularly impressive as I don't think Thema works as a 2 door.

No, you're right. Coupe's are usually an elegant option but this just looks dumpy and nondescript. From the side it could be any Nissan or Datsun from the 80's.

I agree. I am not disappointed it never went into production. Still it seems a reasonable price for a unique oddity.
