There’s an interesting article in today’s Veloce Today online newsletter/magazine.

The link is:  http://www.velocetoday.com/lancia-s4-and-the-attack-of-the-killer-bs/

The article is about John Campion’s Delta S4 and is entitled “Lancia S4 and the Attack of the Killer Bs”.   It relates the fascinating story of how he found his S4 in Italy, including having to pay 1000 Euros to see it - mind you it was no ordinary viewing!

He relates what was involved to convince the Italian owner that his piece of Italian heritage should be allowed to go to the USA; and it’s interesting to read about him running the car on slicks at rally speeds through a forest after the Amelia concours (in which he won best race car for its era).
