Keith Richards takeover of BBC4 led to a most interesting and diverse selection of films, videos and snippets. One of the films he selected was 'The Bicycle Thieves'. Set in Rome in 1948 it follows the desperate efforts an Italian worker to find his stolen bike. Loads of street scenes and of course Lancia spotting. In amongst the Fiats and Alfas I spotted at least 2 Aprilia's, a great shot of a Lambda and also an single decker bus, Omicron? It was broadcast on 25 Sept so if you want to see it, it is on the BBC4 iplayer for the next 7 days. A Rolling Stone with taste.
