I don't know if many forum members subscribe to the Sports Car Digest weekly newsletter.  This week's edition has a report on the 2016 Winter Marathon Rally with some excellent pictures of a couple of Aprilias, a Stratos and three Fulvias in action.  The website can be found at www.sportscardigest.com.  If you subscribe you'll get weekly newsletters.

Beautiful pictures but a distressing lack of snow for the time of year. It can't be helping the ski industry. I like the Aprillia on ice. The occupants look rather alarmed so I wondered what was just out of shot.

There are some great pictures of Lancias in the snow on the 2014 edition of the Winter Marathon Rally.   If you scroll down to the bottom of the 2016 article you'll see links to the 2015 and 2014 events.   The results for 2014 were:

Overall Race
1. Giuliano Cane and Lucia Galliani, 1938 Lancia Aprilia
2. Ezio and Francesca Salviato, 1939 Lancia Aprilia
3. Antonino Margiotta and Bruno Perno, 1965 Morris Mini Cooper S
4. Alberto Aliverti and Alberto Maffi, 1940 Lancia Aprilia
5. Mario Passanante and Maria Odilia Salvi, 1957 Lancia Appia C10S

So Aprilias 1, 2 and 4, with an Appia making up the top 5!   Credit to Sports Car Digest.

Great result that but what I'm really curious about is the Mini Cooper - aren't they traditionally disqualified on the Monte.. Grin
