Does anyone have or know's where I can obtain the Satin Black bonnet air intake trim for an S2 Fulvia Sport 1600?
I can get a S1 stainless steel one from Classic Lancia in NL for just over 200-Euros delivered but this is a bit of a faff as they don't do credit/debit cards or paypal, plus they have suggested spraying it in matt black acrylic paint.
Any advice is appreciated thanks.

Paul

Its not the same and not right for an S2. I got the same from Omicron but had to send it back. They are rare as hens teeth......I repaired mine.  You could ask another 1600 Sport owner to cast one off his. Am sorry I o not have the skills in this area, but guys like Dave Gee or Phil Mitchell could be a good bet.

Thanks Tim,

I thought that to be the case. I will catch up with another member with an S2 1600 and get theirs sized up and replicated by a friend with a steel workshop who does not seem to think it will be too much of  problem to fabricate.

There's no mad panic as yet and if in the meantime one does crop up, I will buy that instead.

Cheers,

Paul.

The difference between S1 and S2 Fulvia Sport air intake vent covers is that the S1 item is stainless steel and the one you want for a S2 is made of a plastic type material. This is why they break, and why they are so rare! (Sorry for poor picture quality)

If the plastic ones are rare as hen's teeth might they be a candidate for 3D printing, or are they too large for that?

They are plastic and they break as goons use them as a handle to open the bonnet.....
