Is it just me or are there other people feeling this is really over the top?   Can't wait for the bubble to burst and seeing cars becoming a hobby again for car enthousiasts instead of for investor bankers....

The new owner should ask the restorers to do some roof chopping...

Dragged literally from the bottom of a 30 year scrap heap, and they still want £15K!

Just a pity it was discarded in the first place.

Not sure that could be restored economically - it would have to be a money no object restoration or a skilled individual to take that on I think.

Up until recently it would have just been broken for parts...

Someone went to the trouble of importing it - then seemingly discarded it not long after, if the 40 years in 'storage'( euphamism for a hedge in this case) are to be believed

Cheers
Dave

This is about the condition of one I saw in Ireland, although that was 2.5 3C, it cost the lad £1k but then realised it was too far gone. So he offered it to Omicron for what he paid for it, they aren’t interested. By the time he sold the glass, trim bits and bright work, seat frames, lights, locks, engine bits including manifold and dizzy. Then then spare engine parts, 2 x gearboxes and complete front and back suspension to me.  He made over £7k.

You could chop the roof off completely and pretend it had always been a convertible. Then it'd be worth even more money.....!

Haha - I have some parts of that car attached to mine at the moment. Does this look familiar?
