Tim,

I like the wing mounted mirrors on your car- what are they, are they effective & can they still be purchased?
I think they could compliment the standard door mirror.

As for shockers I think I will stick to standard de-carbons.

I would not have both types of mirror on the car personally. The Sport just needs to have time to dial in the amount of rear and side information coming from those mirrors (we have been spoilt by modern mirrored cars).

The wing mirrors are Matador and can still be found and were I think a period option as I have seen them on so many Sports.

Your probably right regarding mixing wing and door mirrors and with that in mind I have just purchased another original door mirror which besides looking correct will hopefully provide me with a little comfort when pulling out/overtaking.
