Yes, I know, I should be doing other things, use my time more wisely, but then again, I take great delight in torturing our very own Andy!!

 Grin

 Wink

Some delightful pickings to be had....cast your beady eyes over this little selection.

Frank, you are a rotter !!!!

The saving grace is that they are all saloons. I could only be tempted by something a little off-track .... and then only tempted, I must hope that I can resist temptation!!!

                           Andy

PS   Frank, for the sake of my sanity, please go and pick some blackberries!!

The off-track options are out there too! I've got my eye on a couple of Vignale Lussos, but I'll keep the details to myself for the moment  Cool
... but I'd certainly be interested in co-sponsoring Frank's transporter  Grin

edit: Oh, yes, I forgot - there's this Viotti Giardinetta too; too much work for me, so I'll let you have the details  Cheesy

Mike, please go and pick blackberries with Frank!!!!

Seriously, that does look like it may be saved, I definitely hope so . Worryingly, there are no views of the back of the vehicle.

So, despite my references to blackberries, people, please do keep looking and posting these gems. I am sure one or more of them will ring true for someone on the Forum.

                                    Andy

PS Mike, good luck with the Vignales!

Does anyone have any idea how to go about buying and Appia in Italy and driving it back to UK? I understand that the registration plates belong to the owner of the car and are usually removed on sale, so assume some sort of reregistration is required, who knows!

I love the wooden "sliding sash" entrance door to the rear seating. That's right up by track, beaten or otherwise.

Dave, there was a recent thread on importing from Italy, it might be worth trying the forum search facility.

Thanks for the info. Any suggestions as to what to look for in the search?
