Can anyone help and throw any light on the history of a 1.3hf that is being restored in Australia, a friend met him at Castlemaine 2015, and he is looking for any history of his Fulvia. SLW 395F.

Any thought that the P Moss who is shown to have owned this car from April to December 1969 is Pat Moss? See this from wiki:

"In 1968, Moss joined Lancia to drive the new Fulvia. She did not like the car's strong understeer, but nevertheless drove it to 14th place at the Monte Carlo Rally and 2nd place at the Rallye Sanremo, losing to Pauli Toivonen in a Porsche 911. Her other notable results of the season included winning the Sestriere Rally and finishing 8th at the Acropolis and 7th at the Tour de Corse. At the 1969 Monte Carlo Rally, Moss drove her Fulvia to 6th place."

That would be nice wouldn't it - but unless the cat is LHD then I suspect it's not the car she drove on the Monte Carlo rally in 1969....

Pat Moss drove in the Monte Carlo Rally twice for Lancia 1968 (14th and Coupe des dames) and 1969 (6th and Coupe des dames). 1968 HF was chassis number 1282 reg TO970371, and 1969 HF was chassis number 1279 reg TO970375. She competed in the RAC in 1968 (non finish) in chassis number 1278 reg TO970373. All LHD! (Courtesy E Marquart).

A genuine ex-Pat Moss 1.3HF was known to be in the UK in the 1980s. I used to see it at Roger Perry's workshop (the original Classico) in Suffolk. The log book for the car in question shows that Lancia England owned it after P Moss, which sounds odd, unless it was a 'works car' simply registered in her name to suggest it was a private entrant.

Not sure if I am reading the log book correctly, but the reg date for the transfer to said P Moss is April 69, so assuming the Monte was earlier that year, not too likely to be that P Moss and as mentioned this looks like a UK spec/sold car so likely RHD.

P. Moss is in Northern Ireland too (Down), before the car is bought back by Lancia Uk?

Whats the chassis number of the Oz car?

Funny enough I got it this morning, seems I received two copies of the same page rather than the one with the vehicle details.
Chassis Number is 818.341.1236 -Engine Number 1605.

Ahh… I hadn’t noticed the Co Down stamp print – I had only noticed what looked like a Thame (Thames Valley) address. I guess that rules out any Pat Moss connection. Sorry about that!

RHD but chassis is one before a run of three works cars all prepared for different types of "work" with 1239 as a contender to the Euro Touring car championship...

Seems to be a positive Pat Moss connection, I have an advert from 1974  when it was up for sale with Pat Moss connections, and advertised as a Jolly Club car.
Can anyone make out the address shown against the 'Down C.C.' entry.
I've spent a very frustrating hour trying to load jpeg photos from Australia of this car in it's earlier days, as well as the advert referred to above, all to no avail as it says can't upload this type of photo, even though jpeg seems to be one of the formats that is acceptable? anyone got any ideas Huh?

Hi Brian
The forum allows the extension jpg - so if it's jpeg then this would get blocked. Can you try a renamed file using jpg?
Otherwise I can't think of a reason ...
