Now that I've got lots of good feedback on tyres for my Cromodoras I'm turning my attention to the wheel bolts.  The original chrome bolts that came with the car are quite tarnished/rusted.

There would appear to be three options moving forward: (1) Have the existing bolts re-chromed, (2) Buy new bolts from Omicron.  At £15 per bolt that works out quite expensive. Or, (3) Buy replacement bolts.  There are lots advertised on Ebay at widely varying prices, but I don't know if they are any good.   To pursue this option I would need to know the spec of the original bolts (length, diameter, pitch etc).

One forum response to my earlier Cromodora question said that the original bolts are OK for fitting the Cromodoras.  I'd also appreciate confirmation that that is the case, and that I do not need slightly longer bolts.

Would appreciate any advice from other forum members. Cheers, Norm

On another forum a member made sets of stainless steel bolts...to order, sold 30/40 sets

They worked out around £170 incl delivery, or rechroming about £40 odd using these guys....
