Am I missing something, I can't see either car you mention.  The one you might think is a Flavia pf is actually the Lancia Flaminia Speciale Pininfarina, built on one of the last chassis. The Flavia Zagato is called the Super Sport.
Pics below.

Interestingly I see that the Flaminia Maricia by Ghia is also in the collection.

Nice. You can see them on the film reel thingy at the beginning of the article.

Cars were so beautiful and delicately styled back then. Not like the great fat lumps of today. They keep you alive in an accident but not many modern designs impress me. Have to say that modern Disco Volante on Top Gear was something. So was the price tag though.

Stanley, I absolutely agree with regard to the Disco Volante, a stunning car.

I enjoyed the Top Gear feature but I'm not sure the Disco Volante is an improvement [aesthetically] over the standard car [8C]. I thought the DV looked uncomfortable from some angles, especially side on. Let's face it, the standard car isn't exactly ugly! And the sound...Oh Lordy...
Be nice to be in a position where you have to make that difficult decision about which one to take home. Grin
