Hi All,

http://img.lanciamconline.co.uk/public/Vehicles/LMC-F279NRD-100262.jpg

As it says above, I'd like to pass on my lovely Delta 1300 LX (registered 01-02-1989). It's a lovely 32,000 mile very original car which began life a Delta would as a shopping run around , was then owned by a club member and was in a garage for 9 years before I bought it 2 and a half years ago.

My daughter had the privilege of driving the car and it's been well used (covering 7,000 miles) by her and us as a general run around and to various club events ( including the past two AGMs ).

The reason for the sale is that now my daughters are at university , they don't use it any more and it is not being used enough at the moment and when it is, it is as a second car and not always on high and fine days. We really need to get a second car that it going to survive being out in British winters!

Good bits:
- unrestored car with a lovely patina - with just a few dinks on it from general use (not from my use!)
- four news tyres
- new stainless steel exhaust
- wheels refurbished ( although one has been curbed and needs a repaint )
- sunroof perfect, rear hatch and roof also fine
- cheap to tax ( £130/year )
- cheap parts (generally , unless shared with an integrale)
- very simple to maintain

Bad bits:
- small amount of bubbling on offside drivers wheel arch

Price: £1,500

I'm happy to forward on details to anyone who is interested, the car is MOT'd till March next year and whilst I want to sell, there's no rush on my part to shift it.

I am pleased to report that I am now the proud owner of a 1989 Delta 1300 LX!  Picked it up from Steve's house this morning and had a very pleasurable drive (130 or so miles) back to mine.  Really interesting contrast to my HF Turbo and in some ways more fun on A roads as you find yourself typically driving it quite a bit harder...  Really good fun!

Not yet but that might be on the cards Neil.  Or I might have to sell something...
