I've seen a very nice bronze 1600 HF a couple of times in Berkhamsted, where I live. Its reg no is FUR ***L. If you're the owner and reading this, it would be great if you could PM me so we could meet up in shared-interest, car-club fashion and compare notes on our S2 HFs.

Hi John,
The man you're after is Martin Dowling. Martin frequently turns up to our local Beds & Herts meet at the 5 Bells Henlow 1st tuesday every month about 8pm (You'd be very welcome to join us), we had quite a good Lancia turnout at Classics on the Common at Harpenden on Wednesday, including Martin with his HF wife libby & Dog Dino!, Peter Watcham also in his HF, me with my Fulvia 2c, Mike Guest in his new to him, Lambda, Ian Fraser with Fulvia 3 1300cc, 2 Fulvia sport Zagato, a Beta Spyder, another Lambda (Fabric Bodied Saloon) that appeared to be broken down by the roundabout & wasn't seen again? Huh?
Martin will be at the AGM on Saturday night & sunday.

Hope to see you there.

Problem with getting old the memory isn't what it was Roll Eyes, also at Classics on the common was a very nice Flavia 2000HF in white that had Frank Tierney nearly crying in his cups with longing, another Lambda (Red) I know the owner by sight but not by name, and a very nice Monte Carlo.

Thanks very much, Brian, I shall call Martin. I'd have liked to go to Classics on the Common - I went a couple of years ago in my two-stroke Saab, before I had the Lancia - but sadly wasn't able to make it this year. Maybe next year. I'll try to get along to a Henlow meeting too.
