Some members will have fond memories of the late Roger Perry, who tragically died young in 1991. Others may know Roger through the section on him in “Lancia in Britain”. Roger’s early career was as a professional photographer and there is now an initiative to republish a book of his photographs – “The Writing On The Wall”, which was first published in 1976. These photos have nothing to do with cars, but they are astute observations and brilliant evocations of one aspect of London in the 1970s.
