Anyone know about the Delta bosch i.e. system?

My car starts and idles from cold fine. However, it stalls every time it comes off revs (so when it comes to a junction). Restarts fine and idles although it hunts between 500 and1200 before settling to c1000 ( on the rev counter).

When hot or cold it does the same thing. It also runs fine when not at idle.

Before I try looking at all the sensors can anyone suggest anything?

Tim,
Try cleaning the idle control Valve, and the throttle switch that attaches to the butterfly at the intake, as they tend to get gummed up with petrol deposits.

Try the connections on the temperature sender, these can sometimes cause an erratic idle.

Ta for thoughts.

Seems the throttle position sensor is sensitive to "throttle closed" position for something to create a "soft tickover point" in the ecu. The TPS on my car had worked loose and by trial and error I think I have found the correct setting. Time will tell.

After a number of attempts to get a stable tick over it seems that the Trottle Position Sensor (TPS) which is a quite large potentiometer fitted to the throttle spindle is worn and does not give reliable results at the zero to 100ohm part of its operation.

I am putting a call out for anyone who may have a replacement they could sell me. It is a Weber PF09.

Also has anyone had experience of fitting an Intermoter replacement?
