I have received the following note

"Hi,

i am wondering if you might be able to help us, i am a production
designer working on a pilot series that will be shot up in Glasgow
during September. the Pilot is created by Jamie Hewlett, the guy who
came up with the band Gorillaz and Tank Girl, and features some comic
book style Mutant super villains.

I am looking for a white Lancia either a Stratos, 037 rally or Beta
Montecarlo car to be used as the main kung fu crime fighters car, all
shots will be done in a studio against a green screen, with a few
passing shots in London and Glasgow.

If you feel you might be able to help or know of some members that would
be willing to let us hire a car for a month then please get in touch and
i will give you some more information.

"

If anyone is interested in hiring out their car, please contact me for details of who to contact

As no LMC members appear to be interested, I will e-mail you the original note later today.

Do we know if anyone was able to offer their car? It would be fantastic to see a Lancia on prime-time TV.

Well, I watched for 28 minutes. That was as much as I could bear. The hero operated his Stratos by remote control when he made his exit from the nightclub. I think it's viewing for the masochist Lancisti only!!

You managed 28 minutes?  You must have been bored.  I watched it for about 10 minutes before, thankfully I had to go to work.  Grin

I watched until the Stratos appeared. It took great effort.  Tongue
