No such luck.... anyway bit more done... it is still far too cold in the unit to do the sorting and database entries so that will have to wait till it warms up. .. all the boxes are in order so I can find most parts pretty quickly if I have a tab number and a part number. for anyone who has not got a paper version of the parts books I would get the cdrom version. have been busy today making an invoice and now my head hurts...

Excellent work Jim, you are to be congratulated.

As for the seat warmer, an essential in any unheated  areas in the north-east. Can he balance on the loo to warm that as well?

Hi all
been a bit busy lately with a poorly Mum, getting a house up for sale and stuff. Any way had an email from Don last week to come and move the last of the consortium spares up to the Northeast. The usual crew were rounded up (Matthew and Hazel the dog) and we went down on Tuesday 16th of June to sort it all out. As the pictures show we managed to move a heck of a lot of stuff so many thanks to Don, Penny and hubbie Andy, Matthew and of course Hazel the dog. As I am into my exam marking season I will have to sort out all those lovely bits n pieces a little at a time.

Good luck,

Hi all
bit obvious but needs to be said All the Appia Consortium spares are now in Hartlepool so get in touch with me first if you are stuck. It all still needs checking over but I have a fairly good handle on most of it (he lied!) the last load was mainly engine parts so we moved 10 blocks, 6 flywheels, 10 cranks, another gearbox, and all the seals, bearings and pistons/rings. Plus various bonnets, bootlids, air filters, carbs, dynamos a slack half dozen of them, door bits, windscreens, side window glass, etc, etc

Hi Jim,

Seem to have lost the contact details that Don sent me. If you do not want to put your email address on here then just email me  - Brian Mills. You will find my email under chairman in the back of VL! Many thanks

Hi all...just getting back into sorting all those engine blocks, crankshafts, flywheels, dynamos, wiper motors out and have decided that I need to reorganise the whole unit as at the moment you can't swing a cat in there. So over the next month or so (now Sarah's house is sold, exams are marked, Mum is alot better) I will don my Barry Bucknel persona and put some more shelving up (the guy in the next unit who believe it or not makes magic tricks!!! is moving out and has offered alot of shelving, I have not seen it yet but it can't be worse than the stuff I put up) I might get the master craftsman down old man Clarke who measures everything twice covers the bits of wood in dozens of hieroglyphs and then chops off too much to assist. hopefully when this is all done there will be room (now the blues band have shipped their stuff out) to be able to work on my car and space for another car or two. Hmm... should really not be looking for another Lancia..but you never know.

See if you can recognise who has made an early visit to Santa's Grotto in the grim North, the other lucky person is Carl who has been tasked with restoring a Zagato that from what he has told me has seen better days and alot of the internal parts are missing/modified

Would that be Simon by any chance as I know he's on a flying visit to the UK?
