"Invited by the Bedford Regatta Committee and Bedford Town Council we aim to bring a display of special Classics and Cars of Distinction to the Embankment.  The cars, including the 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagon from Mercedes at Brooklands, will be gathered on the far bank of the river, near the Regatta Enclosure where you'll be able to watch some superb rowing as well as enjoy some beautiful cars.  Entry to the Enclosure will be complementary for drivers"

There may still be time to register - I can forward details.

Hoping for good weather and will be bringing the 1969 Fulvia race car down from Nottingham.

OK off to brave the weather!

Met man at Cranwell says the worst fronts will have passed by 0900Z (10am) tomorrow and things will dry out in the forecast winds (28 to 30 kts). PM sunshine and showers!
