My PA restoration continues, as noted by Chris Gawne in an earlier post, items will pop up when you least expect them do and even at a reasonable price, this has indeed happened several times over the last 18 months.

I am having the engine fully restored and hadn't come across a sets of pistons and liners for sale separately before......does anyone know anything about makers CPS in Italy.....some of their blurb below too, is it true, correct and should I consider these as an option?......

CPS pistons are manufactured from a high yield 4032 alloy which has low expansion under temperature.
This allows closer piston to bore clearances reducing piston noise.

CPS pistons also feature a unique graphite based coating on the skirts which aids the bedding in procedure.

CPS are the innovative specialists for high performance pistons.

CPS products are to be found in engines operating at the highest levels of motor sport, competition and of course, in everyday use.

Plus are these a reasonable price?

Thanks

Checking again, I found this....

http://www.pistonispeciali.com/EN/cars.htm#.UrajEWRdVSM

They seem to do all models, noted the B20 but not B12 in their listing

So is it better to go to directly to maker than use the ebay middleman?
