The owner of the early car here in Portugal is looking for the joint which fits on top of the carb to connect it to the air cleaner. Can anyone help?

Dave the only place I've ever seen spares for the Normale (1C) which has a twin choke downdraught carburettor is in Italy. on ebay.it and Subuto?

I'll have a look and see if I can spot anything, I'll have a look in my Tavoli to see if I can identify the part he wants.

Hello Dave,
I've checked ebay italy and Subito but no luck although I did come across a new/old stock carburettor! see http://www.subito.it/accessori-auto/carburatore-solex-c32-paia-8-brindisi-66890026.htm
I've another couple of places to try, failing that I know a member of the Dutch Club who has a Normale so perhaps he might be able to help for a source.

Send the part number to Cavallitto. He will 99% have one.

Many thanks, chaps. He has tried Cavalitto with no luck so I have given him the email of Grahame Ward in Australia who told me that he has a large stock of spares.

He might be lucky as Grahams family owns about half of all the remaining series 1 Berlinas on the LMC's register.
