As my potential Aurelia purchase looms a little closer and as I think it could take quite a while for to find these (no doubt ruinously expensive) parts I thought I would post now.

I need a front grille for a 4th series B20.  I know they make repros in Italy but would prefer an original one.  If you have one or spot one, please let me know.

At some point I would also like a set of Borrani wheels (but thats low on the priority list).

Thanks

Jonathan

http://www.viva-lancia.com/lancia_forsale/index.htm

These in Italy, not sure if correct or repros

No sign of any B20 grilles

Mine fell off and I drove over it.  Didn't realise until I arrived but was able to retrace my route and find it.  I got another nice one but the fit was off by up to an inch - these were made to the car...  PERHAPS they differ by series and all of a series are the same?  I straighten what I had - hands and hide hammers - and that's how it stayed to this day.

Simon told me not to straighten the little squiffy bar in the middle of the bonnet scoop.  I didn't insist on the grill staying the same when I sold it but was pleased to see it recently with the scars there to enjoy still.

David...per chance would you have photos of the same? Before and after? So what did you think was the noise when you drove over it actually was??!!

Even though I have bought a genuine B 12 grille, there are slight differences in size.......which seems to be the case of all Aurelia grilles.

Will keep an eye out, why not post up a wanted advert on viva-lancia site too?

Longstone Tyres (who are importers for that bimetal wheel) will do a deal with new rubber - but with repro hubcaps you're looking at  over a grand a corner.

Nice, though...
