It's owned by a club member down Oxford way, I thought it had been on here the other week but I can't find the posting, on the 3rd of October Richard mentioned 2 Fulvia Berlinas for sale in Classic Car Weekly, they were in their again last week, and this is one of them, the other is a series 2 and I believe it's one I've spoken to the owner about, he's non LMC, but bought it from someone near St Neots, also non LMC, and had been owned by the same person for donkeys years, unusually it's in green, the current owner lives in Essex.
From what I know of both cars they would be excellent buys.

The lhd GTE looks interesting but why do owners go too far with their rhetoric about rarity?
Our RHD GTE is UK registered and known to the LMC and there are loads of lhd GTE's in Italy. And I certainly know of one lhd 'twin' to our GTE in Switzerland so there will be others.
The sill area on Sedans can be treacherous in respect of corrosion around the A post and B post as can the rear wheel arches so a good gentle look with a small sharp probe would be advised. But at that price, if it is sound what a lot of car for the money even if it is lhd and has a non standard brake master cylinder!

Here some photos of the swiss "twin" to Chris's GTE.
That was seemingly a nice original car in the beginning when it arrived, but the probe of the bodywork mentionned by Chris took only place after the buy.
The result was a full rebuild of the sills, and door bottoms, and a repaint.

Two trite but true sayings come to mind ...

The first is 'Caveat emptor' and the second,  'beauty is only skin deep' !!!!!

The problem I have is that, when in front of a car I want to buy, I find it very difficult to remember either of them!

The lhd GTE for sale near Oxford is apparently sold. Hopefully to someone in the club.
I hope he gets as much pleasure out of driving it as we do with ours.
