I thought I would try to find out if anybody is planning to go on this meeting.
My Aprilia looks as if it will be a goer in time and I am just wondering whether to make the effort.
Its programme on the the usual sort of eating and driving based on Fobello/Valsesia/Varallo on 20-22nd September.
The cost is 640 euros for 2 persons.
My plan would be to go Hull-Zeebrugge and not thrash down.
Paul Atkinson may well be co-driver.

I was going but after an initial reply from the guy I could get no more information.  Then I found some photos of previous affairs on their website and it all looked rather posey.  So I cancelled the hotels and will stick to France and visit Simon.

In any case it would mean 4,000 kms for me which is a bit much on your own at 75 with an Aprilia with less than 150 km since restoration so I would have gone in the Golf.

Perhaps I made wrong assessment and may be it will be very enjoyable.  In which case don't tell me!

As I understand it Gerald is intending to go if he can organise someone to trailer his Spider down there. This is instead of his earlier plan to go at the beginning of Sept.
