Thanks Ade, the pale blue one sounds interesting. Would this one have the tubular construction to support the alluminium panels? Also here is a photo of Nick Mason's car

The so-called 'Carrera Panamerica' ex Martin Birrane car is currently at Richard Thornes being prepared for long distance rallying and I believe the other red car with the Gamberini engine lives in Chobham, Surrey. I havent seen it but it was at a LMC track day at Goodwood a couopkle of years ago I believe.

I did some work on this car (Birranes) when it lived at Mondello. I saw it recently for sale at what I thought was a staggering £90k !!!   Did it sell for this price I wonder ?   I wonder does it still have my out of date seat and harness ?

It may be of interest to note that the two replicas I saw in August 1982 being bulit by Basso were built on the following platforms: B20 1092 and B20 1442.

The brown car at Castle Combe in 1993 was supercharged I recall and looked and sounded great and I think the bulkhead was modified to clear the supercharger. Great to see photos - any of the engine bay Colin?
I believe I saw the pale blue one in a workshop in Turin in 2006 when it had a 2 litre engine with, I think, a twin Soles Nardi conversion. If my memory is correct, this car was built on a 1st Series floorpan.

Following on from Wills B10 thread and mention of Citroen Traction Avant wheels being modified to fit the Aurelia ( I think I still have a couple of same in my garage roof space), on browsing ebay I came across this, then checking further to find Chris's mention of a supercharged B20, would this version of a supercharger be suitable for an Aurelia engine?

To me it doesn't look sufficiently like the period supercharger. You might as well rescue a Volumex unit from the VSCC boys and keep things Lancia.

In the realm of the totally obscure, there were probably period superchargers made for the Aurelia. I've never seen one, but one by Intermeccanica is mentioned in period literature. A Lancia version of the holy grail.
