I have a twin cam with twin DCOEs.  I can see on the back of each a lever to control the "cold start mechanism" but on this car there's no choke knob or cable.

Is there a start procedure that means I don't need all that?

Pump throttle 3 or 4 times then use starter, and warm slowly until it revs ok Smiley

Just did a Google and got this on a Lotus site:

http://www.lotuselan.net/forums/fuel-system-carbs-f40/weber-cold-start-unit-t877.html

They make the cold start unit sound "optional" also.
