I'm 6' 1" and have never had a problem so he should be OK. Recently someone refused to believe I could get in it and I had to prove I could and sit with arms and legs out normally. Not sure why they considered the Fulvia to be so tiny. Years ago I used to comfortably drive a MG Midget. I suppose it's because there are no genuine small cars anymore.

As well as Gerard Thorp potentially joining us we may also be blessed with attendance from new members Colin & Barbara Welburn tonight.  Colin is contemplating the purchace of a Fulvia in due course but being 6'2" tall is concerned that he may not fit comfortably in one.  It would be nice if we could rustle up a Fulvia for Colin to sit in tonight as he cannot make the AGM.

See y'all later.  I'm bringing the Integrale  Grin

Mark,
Find him a Series 2 Berlina, they had a ride with me in "Fay" at Goodwood track day and colin had no problems Grin I am still keeping an eye open for him but no luck so far, perhaps Chris Hopkins could find another like the one he took to Fulvias in Norfolk, lovely, and it was great running together with another Berlina for a change!

Well I think that we have convinced Colin to purchase a Fulvia 2C, or maybe even a Coupe. Colin, keep us posted on progress and we hope to see you in something more Italian than a silver mondeo soon  Wink

Today we had a good turnout and topics of discussion was varied with lots of laughs. Thanks to new attendee Gerard, Colin, Pat, Barbara, Peter, Donald, Geoff and his buddy Jeremy too.

Musa (Gerard's, as featured in a recent VL article on importing Lancias), 3 Kappas and an Integrale today.
Hampshire is proving to be the home of the Kappa Coupe!

Pub meet tomorow.  Gerard has already confirmed that he'll be back in his Musa.  I'll have the 'Grale out too.  With any luck we might get some Fulvias?  Or, if a few 'Grale's come along to support me, perhaps we might finally outnumber the Kappa posse!  Grin

I hope the weather will allow us to eat al-fresco without being too fresco!

Only the one Fulvia this month, but you had a good variety of models present, five in all.

Yes well spotted Tim, an aerodynamic aid for Fulvias with bumpers! Tesla Fulvia is behaving itself now, there is a Telsa dealer in Weybridge perhaps they can take a look...

Many thanks Keith Brown for bringing his authentic Lancia diagnostics tool and running a check on my Evo in the car park of the pub.  I'm sorry my car refused to relinquish your power cable and I shall return it to you as soon as I have freed it from the cigarette lighter!  Odd.

Donald.  Thanks for promoting me to post my Treasure Hunt event on the forum calendar.  I clean forgot to do this.

Winter is drawing in already it seems - bit chilly tonight!

Im afraid that I cannot make this coming Tuesday (6th October) meet as I am attending the San Marino Rally Legends 2015 event.
I am also led to believe that Barbara and Peter won't be in attendance either due to other commitments.
I suspect that the other usual faces will still be there though Smiley

I won't be tonight, just out of Hospital after knee replacement. So, holed up for a few weeks.  Our trip to Germany went well. The Kappa Coupe went very well over 2,250 miles, finishing up in Lengries for the LCV Autumn meet. Which was very good, I met up with some old friends aqnd made some new.  Donald

Good luck with the new knee Donald ..... the more pain killers the better and as much exercise as the pain allows seems to be the general rule!!!

Left knee?

Whichever, we look forward to seeing you at the Dec meet, Donald.
Wishing you a quick recovery.
