Dunno what its like in the UK, but sales of Fiat and Alfa Romeo (and Chrysler) in Ireland are not exactly mind blowing. Monthly sales are generally in single figures. Zero Alfas, zero Chryslers and only 64 Fiats sold In January '13.
Maybe he's trying to run the whole company into the ground.....
