Happy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.

Many all your Lancia driving dreams come true!!

Santa stuffed a Flavia Vignale through my letter box so I am a happy bunny!

Sarah and I hope to see as many Lancisti in the new year as possible.

Best

Tim and Sarah

PS we have named the Vignale "Strictly" after Flavia won with some guy last Saturday!

Wishing you all a very happy christmas and here's to 2013!!

As for those of you logged on to the forum on Christmas day (shame!!) our parish priest logs on just after midnight mass to check on the next year's releases from Hornby.  As the parish-atheist I get to hear of his guilty pleasures. He told me a couple of years back after a "holy" was bemoaning the consumer culture and how tragic that computers had enabled "shops" to be open on Christmas day while that had always been the one special day in the year after the Sunday trading laws relaxed.  He smiled and nodded and humed and hawed.  I expect most of the training for priesthood is how to keep a straight face.

His day off this week is helping out on a steam train.  He'd love to be shoveling the coal but now in his 70s and unable to commit to all that many days (he's going to struggle to get Sunday's off...) its 'just' in the buffet car.

His guilty pleasure this year, while his holy flock are having a time of quiet reflection on the true meaning of christmas, was looking forward to seeing if his brother's modifications on his Morgan Plus 8 result in a sub 5s 0-60 time.  He went into some detail as to the test route and the test procedures.  It was filthy weather Christmas morning but I think it had cleared up by the time he'd be out to his brother's.  Just to clarify that's his brother by birth not a group of monks modifying sports cars.

Boys with toys!!

David, that is just my sort of parish priest !!!!!!

For the older members of our community who can remember back that far, one of our local local RC priests was also a script writer for Dave Allen. When encouraged enough, he himself could and would put on a stand up routine to match any that Dave Allen himself could produce. A wonderful man of many talents (the priest that is).

Seasons Greetings to all who know Jacky and I. I'm a bit late posting this because our internet has been u/s for 3 days but the good news is our 'new' Fulvia GTE is now on the road and legal in the UK....so there are now two S1 Fulvia Berlinas on the road in the UK and Brian will therefore have some company at Goodwood in May for the Fulvia 50 celebrations.
See you all there!
