The 15th Cotswold Economy Drive will be held on Sunday 18th August with, as usual an optional pre rally dinner on the Saturday night. The 120 mile route will be non damaging and designed to include both quiet country lanes and interesting villages. No special insurance or equipment is required while children and dogs are welcome. Entries are limited to 50. More information to follow.

We intend making the 15th Cotswold Economy Drive very special. We have already taken the unusual step of block booking a small exclusive hotel in the Cotswolds for our pre rally dinner and overnight accommodation with rates pegged the same as last year. It is in an idyllic relaxed village setting with ample parking, and with no weddings to interrupt proceedings. Rooms are limited to twenty, but the restaurant, can seat seventy. There is also a choice of b&b within walking distance. The Sunday route will be 80% new with some superb long and winding country lanes just right for Lancias. First car will leave at 10.00 Sunday morning after bacon butties and coffee.

Many thanks to Peter and Lin for probably the best CED event in the 9 years Sarah and I have been "competing" in the Cotswolds, made more memorable for by "winning" in our 1600HF, with an error of less than 0.1% on our predicted fuel economy!!

A good turn out of Lancias too.

A belated [computers gone wrong & have borrowed granddaughter's laptop] thank you to Peter & Lin for yet another thoroughly enjoyable event. Liked the overnight hotel & change of route area.
