Not officially an Italian car event, but AutoItalia are organising the event and have set aside an Italian club stand area - there should be a great selection of cars.  Only one week to go.

Details from AutoItalia Magazine:

Brooklands Autumn Motorsport Festival – Sunday October 14th

A repeat of last year’s successful inaugural event. Competition cars from all ages will be put through their paces on the adjacent Mercedes-Benz World test track. Selected cars will also run up the demanding Brooklands test hill. Visitors can expect to see a wide variety of competition cars including Formula 1, F5000, GTs and Touring cars and Group B rally cars. This is the only venue in the UK where visitors can get really close to the action.

Although Italian cars are a feature of this event, there are plenty of other vehicles to see and hear. For example, in 2011 we had the ex-Nelson Piquet F1 Benetton on track accompanied by a Group B Metro 6R4 and the monster, record breaking Napier Railton. Something for everyone. Latest news is that there will be an area set aside for Italian car clubs. This is a great late season opportunity to display your car.

If you have an interesting competition car and would like to take part in the activities, please apply to the organisers at: gbpromotions@virginmedia.com

Well after arriving at Brooklands about 10.30am and leaving at 1pm, and after frequent visits back to where the Lancia's were parked, I can only conclude they all arrived by autopilot!
The only Lancia motor club member I saw was Tony with his camera as usual, as I arrived, during the remaiming 2.1/2 hours I was there (had to get back for the dogs)  I didn't see one Lancia member, the one Lancia whose driver was with it was a very nice Dedra HF Turbo, although he wasn't a member, although he did say he is just about to join.
My main reason for going was to meet up at what is probably the last get together before the winter Cry
It was not to be.
Photos to follow.

Brian, I saw FAY, but no owner, I suspect we were all over by the M-B test track, it is a shame we missed you.   A few pictures from the event today.

I'm sorry we missed you Brian - I was around and about the Lancia area for about half an hour before going over to the MBW track just before 12 but then didn't get back until after 1.  I hope you had a good trip back.

I did take quite a few pictures today and they can be found here:

It was a good event and I would recommend it to anybody who hasn't been before.

The weather certainly turned out perfect which helped to make this a good event. A slideshow of my photos can be seen at http://photos.131mirafiori.com/FullScreenSlideShow.aspx?gallery=3171606&mt=Photo

sorry I missed you all, I suspected that's where you probably were, I only hope they let the car loose so they could really show themselves off, unlike the Spring Italian day when we were kept below 50mph by the pace car, now that was a waste of time!
I had also brought some of the clubs special Tools along in the hope of drumming up a bit of business for them, one was the twin carburettor balancer I made reference to, and posted pictures of when talking about balancing carbs thread the other day. and the Fulvia Front Wheel Bearing Tools.
Second time I've brought them along to an event and taken them home again, the previous time was the Gammas attendance at the Bedfordshire Steam Fair when they were let down by the organisers not saving them room in the Classic Cars display area as promised and I failed to find any of the cars or owners Sad

PS, who owns the lovely Gussie? I can't remember seeing it before.

Great photos.  Sorry I missed it - had planned to go but then Harvest Festival with daughter's brownies and all afternoon helping with school project scuppered my chances.  There's always next year.

I am surprised no one has spotted the 'imposter' in my last photo, a RHD Delta that arrived mid-afternoon, wearing a non Italian badge... the number plate has FIAT Auto on it which was unexpected.

Presumably you mean this white one?

Not really an imposter as it's made in Italy by Lancia regardless of the badge on it  Wink Grin

For me it was more interesting to see the new and old Deltas side-by-side  Cheesy
