Just checked the date with Bruce Beattie - who doesn't do email so I offered to put the date on the Forum - and he has confirmed the dates as 22nd to 24th March 2013.  Details will shortly be enclosed with Viva Lancai.

Hi,
I've had an enquiry asking for the location of this event - not from a club member (I don't think) , so I was just going to put the Hotel Name. Can anyone please post a weblink for it ?

strange comment to make, nothing to do with me regarding the person asking but thought LMC would welcome the chance to possibly recruit new members by non members attending these events as per the LMC track day in the south which attracts a lot of non members to go along.

I seem to have been mis-understood re gate crashing. I will be the first to want the club to have new members at its event. I meant that is would be easy for someone to come to the hotel for that weekend on maybe just maybe a better deal than those who have subscribed to the event as organised. This has happened at other "residential" events and leads to problems. It is not a problem for non-residential events such as Goodwood. Having said that I re-iterate I would love our events to attract new members.

I have booked double accomadation at the Radisson hotel for the weekend, but the 'flu & a lack of Lancias are putting me off going.

Please PM me if anyone would like to take over my reservation. Thanks.

Don't know what you know regarding that ,but when I last spoke to bruce who is organising it he stated he had cars coming from all over and a few travelling over from europe.Unfortunately he is not on the forum to answer,so maybe worth giving him a ring to confirm what sort of numbers are attending.

Nic, I should have written ,"...'flu & MY lack of Lancias is putting me off going"!

I telephoned Bruce earlier today, but it seems nobody is interested in MY (spare) accomadation...

Don, thank you for that re-assurance, but I am still under the 'flu cosh, and have cancelled my booking.  Sad

To everyone that is going, you will be in my thoughts, and I hope you enjoy.

Jeez - has anyone seen the weather forecast! Can only hope it's pessimistic. Blizzard conditions from Friday lunch through to Saturday evening according to the BBC. The weather is not smiling on the LMC at the moment!
