Theoretically speaking is there a Lancia (or other classic apart from a Yank Tank) that lends itself to the installation of three rear seat belts.  As my kids get older I want to be able to take them to a few more events and the Fanalone isnt really the best car for that so am thinking about whether or not another classic (in addition, not instead of) could fit the bill potentially (without major reconstructive surgery).  I am not keen on the VW camper route (50mph max speed all day long doesnt appeal, nice as they are).

Any thoughts appreciated.

I fitted these to my VX HPE without any hassle.  Grin Mounting points are already there in the floorpan.

Most have a central lap belt only - if that's what you mean.

Pretty sure my Grale has one

Jonathan, Go the Berlina Route for the space, Fulvia Berlina  (Ser 2 1300 engine/Flavia Berlina, 2000 Berlina, lots of room and I'm sure 3 belts are possible, if you speak to seat belt specialists I'm pretty sure you'll find it doable.

Two three points plus a lap belt got me to Zoe's 7th birthday with her squeezed into one of those seats with a full harness built into the seat which itself secures with the lap belt in the middle of the back seat.

What I've ended up with now (1985 Merc 300TE) is an old four point rally harness that I've hooked into the mounting bolts.  The shoulder straps wrap round the seat and under again.  Not ideal but I (and they) are happier with it than a lap belt on its own.

The other mod I've pondered for various classics that catch my eye is a beam to bolt to the parcel shelf and/or sides and/or strut tops with headrests and eye bolts for harnesses.  For a track day or rally the eye bolts could be used for harnesses for the front seats.
