Hello All,

I’m doing the Hagerty Run again this year, did it last year; very good.

Extract from last year's Hagerty press release;
"Among the throng of pre 1990 classic cars were Martin Dowling’s exceptional Lancia Montecarlo and a fantastic set of three Bugattis including a Brescia, Type 30 and Type 37.  In addition, Peter Beale arrived in his hugely popular Peugeot 504, which featured on the 2000 Tour of Australia.  There were also a good number of E Types in attendance enjoying their year of numerous birthday celebrations"

This year the run is from Silverstone to Donington with tulip route notes. No cost just suggested donation of £20.

Anyone fancy doing it too, it would be nice to have a better Lancia showing as I was the only one last year amongst lots of other really interesting cars, see their website.

Martin

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

We are coincidently (1) staying close by to Silverstone at the Buckingham Hotel on the Saturday so will bring the Gamma and do the run.

Coincidently (2) we have just changed to Hagerty insurance and I can't recommend them enough.

And finally, I have heard that the Gamma AGM in September (which we unfortunately cannot do) is being held coincidently (3) at the Buckingham hotel....

Hi Martin

Just sent off entry form . I did phone Hagerty to confirm it's OK to bring the Delta as the website
says the run is open to pre-1990 cars or cars of special interest. Hope we get a spot as the numbers
are limited to 150 I believe.

Hello Steve,

Excellent news, I'm glad you can make it. I'll PM you the email address for my "special contact" at Hagarty who was very keen to have more Lancias and may be able to make sure you don't fall foul of the 1990 thing.

Look forward to seeing you there !

Martin.

Thanks Martin

Already have confirmation of entry by email today. What time are you planning to get to Silverstone, 8.30 seems a little early ! I presume
you are not allocated a start time in advance ( no mention in their email), so we were thinking more 9.00' ish.

We enjoyed it too , nice mix of cars and enjoyable route ( 82 miles).

Weather held up mostly during the run only to tip it down , hail included , on the way home.

Nice bonus to get the car in CCW and on Hagerty's face book page ,would definitely do it again.
