Looking into new rear shocks for my S3 and came across AVO shock absorbers on Need for Speed website, reasonably priced. Anyone have any experience of these?

Got adjustables on the back of Fulvia HF. Good value and easy to fit.

Check that the bottom eye is off-set to the centre line of the body, otherwise the body might foul the axle, requiring the mounting plates on the axle to be extended.

Fitted a pair to the back no problem. Looks like I'll need new ones for the front as one of the old ones is leaking. Car is a long way from moving under it's own power so not in a position yet to comment on their performance!

Greetings from  Surrey (forgotten your first name, sorry) - pleased to see you haven't given them up, a near impossibility I know.  I could trace your silver S1 through about five owners and I nearly bought it back myself.Sadly I think it's demise was inevitable though remembering how last it looked. A brave person could have saved it though so who knows. Regards Chris

Really sorry to hear it's bitten the dust. Always said I'd buy it back once my lottery numbers came up but that's not happened either! Current Fulvia is, I think, my eighth - they are indeed hard to resist. Incidentally, who do I contact for loan of the rear hub tools? Need to get at seized up handbrake mechanism.

your correct Chris, some months ago I was asked if I would take over the job which is dependent on the amount of room required for storage, I'm waiting on a list at present from Ian so I can get an idea of the space needed.
But at our local meeting on tuesday a couple of the group have offered to help out if I can't store all of them, so it shouldn't be a problem, watch this space.

Do you have contact details for Ian Lloyd? Did a member search under that name but nothing came up.

Better to pm details rather than on open forum John
Might be better to delete.

Why Geoff,
It's already in the back of Viva Lancia?
Maybe in the Members only Section.
Thinking about it perhaps all the information for advisers etc should be on here, but once again in the Members Section.
