Have to admit to being a bit of an Audi fan. With their Fessia like engine lay outs etc. I always think of them as the German Lancia.

Seems to me his memory is not that good! When did Gamma subframes rust away? It was never a problem with the Gammas but the reported and much exaggerated problems were with the Betas.

And it wasn't the Beta subframe, but,
the rear mountings it was bolted to.

Certainly NEVER a problem with the Gamma

Totally agree with Malcolm' senitments though. You'd never find me buying a Chrysler badged Lancia either.
