ZAGATO REGISTER - FULVIA SPORT

NUE 153L is in the Register records, having appeared in the 1991 LMC members' register; but it has been off the radar since.  The Register does not have the VIN recorded, and I contacted Richard Thorne Classic Cars for some details.   Unfortunately, and in their usual manner, they completely ignored my polite request.

IF anyone out there is going to look at the car (and its condition must be pretty special!), would they please take a note of the Chassis Number   818*751*00?Huh?.  It would be much appreciated, and of course helps in getting another piece in the jigsaw to create a more accurate record of how many RHD 1600 Sports were really made.

Regards - Roddy

In hindsight, perhaps I dealt R.T.C.C. an injustice?   I received an Email today from an employee giving me the VIN of the Sport 1600 they are offering for sale - another piece in the jigsaw.

I see this is still for sale, reading the description it had a £60k restoration, look at the door cards and the way they screwed them on with self tappers! looks like the dash got the same treatment as well? with no bumpers fitted this doesn't look like a £25k car to me Tongue

It appears in the Classic & Sportscar 'ads on test' although there is quite a list of things that need doing (more than I would expect at the price) they seem to think it good value......

Yes, looks good apart from those screw heads in the door cards and I can't make out whats in the dash along the bottom edge? also S1 steering wheel fitted and no mention of bumpers being included which are very exspensive and rare, deffo not £25k, that would get you a good S1 1600 HF coupe, more like £15-17k and thats strong money.

Another 1600 Sport but LHD:  http://www.tonyerker.info/html/lancia_zagato_sport.html

Not seen a S1 1.6HF advertised for £25k in about 5 years. Most are way over £30k these days - especially LHD ones in EU. If you can find a good one at that price buy it!

Can't see how that can be S1!! I thought all 1600Z's were S2.

My comment:

"Not seen a S1 1.6HF advertised for £25k in about 5 years. Most are way over £30k these days - especially LHD ones in EU. If you can find a good one at that price buy it!"

refers to 1.6HF Coupe aka "Fanalone" not FSZ.
