Just to add to the write up of events, we had a nice time a Gloucester Docks yesterday : Delta integrale, Delta HPE, Aurelia B10, Montecarlo S1, Beta Spyder were present (as was the sun and the wind). Nice easy drive up and 'nicer' drive back follow Terry's spyder!

Tim Burrett's Aurelia saloon you have pictured is actually a B22, but I will forgive you as you can't really tell by looking at it unless you can see the chassis number!

Ok, well now that you've told me I've corrected it on the database Smiley ... I'm assuming it's a pretty rare version?

Brin Edwards also had one if I remember correctly.

The B22 is one of the rarest Aurelia saloons, only 1074 built, it has a 1991cc 90Bhp engine.
Brin Edwards car is a B21, with the 1991cc 70Bhp engine.
I think the only way you can tell them apart, without opening the bonnet (including the B10 saloon) is that they have different top speeds on their speedometers!

Thanks Ade,
I wasn't sure whether or not Brins was a B22, but it was definitely an Aurelia Berlina with a bigger engine, were there other variations?

The other Aurelia saloons are the B10 (as mentioned) 1754cc 56Bhp and the B15 which was a extended saloon with extra side windows, this had a 1991cc engine with 65Bhp. (Only 81 were built)
Then there was the second series saloon, the B12 with 2266cc 90Bhp.
Of course there are numerous coachbuilt saloons on Aurelia chassis as well.
