Looking forward to installing this engine soon, here seen on the engine builder's test rig. Also very attracted to the triple Weber set up, albeit more complicated to set up, I should resist but can't.

Tim, yes a very good finger chopper! David, my friend has the video, but the file size is too large to send to me? He said he will put it on a memory stick for now, and I shall keep it with the engine report sheet. I will post on this thread when I find a way to do so. Or I can lend the memory stick if of interest? Richard

He can put it on YouTube but "private" so it can't be searched but you can share a link.  Its what schools do.

Could put it on youtube as a public film...for marketing for their business?

Driveshaft now connected. A strange thing has happened. The brakes are free with the engine off, but start the engine and the brakes come on
without touching the brake pedal. Has anyone here ever heard of this happening? Richard

I now have a new 12v ignition coil. There is one negative connection to the points and there are two wires on the positive connection. Does anyone here know where these wires should go to? The cotton covered wire goes to the ignition switch and the black wire goes through the bulkhead and into a loom. My question relates to the engine not stopping with the ignition switched off. Only  removing both positive coil wires together stops the engine immediately. So a feed from somewhere? (Only one positive wire on my diagram)Replies welcome. Richard

Hi Richard

Is one of those feeds to the rev counter? (Not familiar with your car, but my Beta uses this technique)
